The three kunai that were thrown at Dias thunked into the wall beside his head. Dias rolled to the floor, extending his forearm and fist, bone protruding to form a wing-like sword. The assailant chopped the air above, Dias moved fluidly from the reach of his attacker's knife. The dark alley limited movement, so Dias brought up the sword to deflect any incoming blows. The assailant launched himself forward, propelled through the air at incredible speed. Dias sensed this, a knot in his gut tightening, and switched his stance to best counter the offensive. The assailant struck the bone protrusion, smashing into the sword at force. Dias was edged backwards by the blow, blood from his assailant's head splatttering over his body, and retreated back two, then three steps to allow himself some room. The assailant was badly hurt, his hand a mangled ruin that he held close to his chest. "Dias, this will not be the last time we come for you, have my word" he spat, blood and tears splashing upon the flagstone beneath lhis feet. Dias looked on, and realised that the assailant rose again, and attempted to pick up the knife. Dias gave the assailant no time to scrabble with one hand, lunging forward to strike at the shadowy figure, his makeshift blade ramming home into the side of the assailant's head, cracking the skull with a sickening noise.
