Personality: Sebasu is one of the most foul-mouthed, disrespectful characters in the world; he frequently swears and complains at allies and opponents alike, contrary to being a "religious" person. He rarely uses honourifics when speaking. He is one of the only people who does not respect anyone. The only respect he ever seems to give was to his god, and, even then, he is quite willing to use his name as an insult. Sebasu has absolutely no moral restraints regarding the people he kills; he considers slaughter a religious calling, and often takes considerable pleasure in making his opponents' deaths as painful as possible. Given the requirements of his voodoo-like curse ritual, he is quite willing to inflict pain and injuries on himself, and openly relishes the shared pain between him and the cursed victim. Despite this, he reacted "normally" (that is, he didn't enjoy the pain) to being injured by someone else, or when the opponent doesn't share the pain.

The sun's gaze seemed focused solely on him, the heat beating him. The middle of summer, it seemed, had finally arrived to stay. The beating heat would normally be pounding like a baton, but the thin silk he wore kept him cool enough. His Daisho rattled on his side as he took a step forward, stepping from the rock he was perched on out into the sky. He fell, landing gently on the ground below him. He began to stroll through the woods, the fine wooden sheaths that held his daisho clacked together gently with every landing of his feet. Ahead of him lied his home village, Kumogakure. Description: Its main purpose is to aid him in collecting blood for his curse ritual. Because of this, it is designed, not so much to kill the target, but to wound them, no matter how big or small the wound.
The three blades get smaller from top to bottom, giving the scythe a larger range, despite decreasing its lethality. The scythe is attached to a long metal cable, wound around two spools on Hidan's left hip. This cable is strong enough to block kunai and allows Hidan to further increase the scythe's range by swinging it through the air.

Description: This technique is Sebasu's primary method of killing his opponents in the way of the Jashin religion. First, Sebasu makes every effort to draw blood from his opponent and ingest it. After that, his skin turns black with white markings that makes him look like a skeleton, a symbol of absolute death. He then draws Jashin's symbol on the ground in blood and stands in the centre. This serves as the link between him and his victim.
Once his sacrificial ritual takes place, the victim is linked with Sebasu until he either steps or is forced out of the circle. Any kind of injury that Sebasu inflicts upon himself (or the injury they inflicted on him) is reciprocated on his target, be it a mere scratch to a pierce in the heart. If Sebasu is forced to step out of the circle, the link is broken and the victim is set free, but all Sebasu has to do is to step back into the circle to reactivate the link. Basically, this technique makes Sebasu a living voodoo doll.
